10 December, Thursday
Arrival to Vienna.
Staying at the Intercontinental Wien 5 star Hotel (Johannesgasse 28 A-1037
Vienna, Austria).
The hotel is located in the historical centre of Vienna near the Opera Theatre,
St. Stephen Cathedral, Hofburg Palace and the city park. It offers a
combination of up-to-date technology and high quality service. On offer are

17:00 Vienna by Night.
Visiting
Kalenberg mountain with an excellent view of Vienna by night.
21:00 Supper at Grinzing wine tavern.
You will receive a welcoming glass of wine, cold and hot snacks and desert. The
main course and drinks are ordered a la carte and paid individually.
Return to the hotel.
11 December, Friday
Spare time. If you are interested
in shopping then you should visit Kolmarkt Street or the famous Viennese
Ringsstrasse boulevard, the shopping centre of Austria. This street
amazes even the most sophisticated buyers with the latest designer collections.
If you want to take a
walk around festive Vienna, then Graben and Karntner Streets are within easy
reach. Street kiosks serve famous Austrian mulled wine, punch or tea with
berries. The Austrian capital will be at the start of their Christmas
celebrations. Outside the Town Hall there is a miniature Christmas town.
Thousands of people from all over the world walk, shop and eat here from
morning till late at night.
18:00 Gala-evening in
the famous Pallavicini Palace. The magnificently decorated Palais Pallavicini
was built between 1782 and 1784 by the great Austrian architect Johan Ferdinand
von Hoenberg. This has belonged to the Margrave Pallavicini for 150
years. Even now their descendants live in this palace. The building is
located in the centre of Vienna, and it is famous for hosting celebrities and
heads of state through the years. Mozart and Beethoven played their works in
the main hall. Sophie Loren, Grace Kelly and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis
are listed amongst its previous guests.
19:00 European Awards
Ceremony. Presenting
the International awards of Europe Business Assembly to outstanding people from
business, education, government and culture. Also presented will be
Honorary Professorships of the International University of Vienna. This is
followed by a superb gala-dinner including Viennese entertainment and meetings
with the representatives of Viennese aristocracy. There is an opportunity to
support good causes by taking part in a charity auction.
23:00 Return to the hotel.
12 December, Saturday
10:00 A visit to
Schonbrunn Palace.
The baroque palace was built in 1713 and was used as the summer imperial
residence. 40 halls and 1141 rooms are open to visitors. The imperial ensemble
Schonbrunn, the castle together with a park, gardens and zoo have been listed
as UNESCO world culture heritage sites since 1996.

20:15 'Imperial
Waltz' –
a dinner of high society and a concert in Kursalon.
Kursalon was built
between 1865 – 1867 in a Renaissance style and is considered one of the best
concert halls of Vienna. In 1868 the first performance of Johan Straus’ work
took place here. Since then Kursalon has been at the heart of high society life
of Vienna and has become the place for dances and musical performances.
This evening, the famous
performers of classical music, the 'Alt Wien' orchestra, will take you through
the best of Viennese music – the music of Johan Straus and Wolfgang Amadeus
Mozart. Masterly musicians, opera singers and dancers will give you an evening
full Viennese charm. The offered programme includes an evening concert in
combination with an exquisite gala-dinner.
